Jimin, the only Kpop idol in top 5 of poll, finished 5th.

Korean ajumas flexed their fan power by voting trot singer Lim Young Woong, pictured above, as this year's 'Brightest Solo Singer', in a poll ran by idol chart.
Trot singer Lim Young Woong was voted first raking in a whopping 567,749 votes of 874719 total votes. That is an incredible 65% of total votes!
Second was fellow trot singer Kim Ho Joong finishing with 131179 votes (15%).
He was followed by trot singers Lee Chan Won (83,399 votes) and Young Tak (22,224 votes).
5-8 were BTS members Jimin, V, J Hope and Suga. Jin, RM, and Jungkook finished outside of the top 10, along side fellow popular kpop idol 'Kang Daniel' who finished 15th.

The poll was conducted by 'Idol Chart', one of the larger charts in Korea.
