Korean Drama fans are salivating over who will win the ratings war that is about to take place between three of Korea's top actresses: Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Young Ae, and Song Hye Kyo all have highly anticipated, highly acclaimed dramas out. Fans are pointing out all three dramas are expected to do very well, let's take a look at the players.
Jun Ji Hyun - Jirisan
Despite controversy in the beginning of the drama, the drama has maintained a 9%-!0% viewership rating. For cable dramas (TVN, JTBC) anything over 3% is considered respectable with anything over 5% is seen as a success.
Lee Young Ae 'Inspector Koo'
This drama is particular in the sense that despite it's sub 2% rating, it has been one of the highest watched K-dramas on Netflix Korea.
Song Hye Kyo 'Now We Are Breaking Up'
One of Korea's most anticipated drama of the year, this steamy romance novella already is a buzz due to the crazy chemistry between Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong. The drama will be Song Hye Kyo's first in 3 years.
