'Gayo Top Ten' will return after a 25-year hiatus.
At 6:30 p.m. on the 25th, KBS World's YouTube channel will host a live stream of 'Virtual Song Top Ten.' It will be broadcast live in 114 countries on the KBS World TV channel on the 27th at 3:05 p.m. (KST).
The Song Top Ten-created virtual space 'Quantum Oasis' is a virtual universe in which ten teams of K-pop singers and their fans meet, transcending time and space. This entails co-creating their own universe in a virtual world.
The Music Top Ten, which concluded in February 1998, marked a watershed moment in Korea's popular music history. Each week on Virtual Song Top 10, a Golden Cup will be presented to the top artist. Stray Kids, Mamamoo, Solar, Brave Girls, CRAVITY, and Billy are among the nominees for the inaugural broadcast Golden Cup.
Additionally, there will be a cover dance battle with silver cups awarded. The group 'Future Boy' covers 'Now' by 'Fin.K.L' in the first broadcast, while 'Bleachers' covers 'Descendants of Warriors' by 'H.O.T'. They are reborn as their own songs after being arranged and recorded separately. By 6 p.m. on the 20th, the winner will be determined by the number of YouTube views and comments.
