H1-KEY MEMBER SITALA RESPONDS TO QUESTIONS ABOUT HER FATHER

Will international fans forgive?

Upcoming girl group H1-Key's Thai member Sitala spoke in regards to controversy over her father.

The group held their showcase at ILJI Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul on January 5th, for the debut of the girl's first single Athletic Girl.

On this day Sitala fielded questions in regards to her father and replied, "First I don't have any political opinions at the moment, I want to make that clear. At the time I was young and I didn't understand what was going on. I just hope that in Thailand people with different opinions can co-exist peacefully."

The member has been embroiled in controversy stemming from her father and mother who Thai fans allege helped topple the established government in a coup. Sitala is also on record saying she looked up to her father, further stroking flames of dissent. Grandline Group on Dec 8th in a statement addressed the issue stating, "We apologize to the Thai people for causing concern after careful consideration due to the fact that her father has passed away we feel it is unfair to ask her to bear the consequences of her father's actions. There will be no member changes at the moment."

The group will make their debut on January 5th, 6pm KST.
