BEENZINO SONG ALLEGEDLY STOLEN BY RUSSIAN RAPPER


Chipinkos, a Russian gangster rapper, is reported to have plagarized Beenzino's song 'Monet' without permission.


On the 17th, Chippincos released 'Monet' on music streaming platforms such as Spotify. Chippincos simply changed the singer's name and released the song as-is. Beyond simple plagiarism, it was established that the Korean song sound source sung by Beenzino was used in its entirety.


On the 25th, Beenzino's agency, Beasts & Natives, confirmed this and said, "We intend to take strong measures against this theft."


'Monet' is a song from the rapper's sixth studio album, 'NOWITZKI.' It was featured on the official soundtrack for the basketball game 'NBA 2K22' and received widespread attention.


Chippinkos is a Russian gangster rapper He  approximately 50,000-subscriber YouTube channel. He has not yet issued an official statement regarding the unauthorized theft controversy.
