Netflix Korea revealed the 2022 Korean Contents line up on January 19th. This day, Netflix Korea's VP of Contents was also in attendance.
On this day the VP of Contents addressed the accusations of 'Colorism' the show 'Single's Inferno', the wildly successful dating show, faced due to comments made by male contestants towards female contestants.
Regarding this, the VP stated, "There were many concerns regarding this. As Netflix have just started streaming around the world, there are instances where cultural nuances are acceptable in our country that isn't in another. There are countless instances where the opposite can be said (of foreign culture)."
On this day NETFLIX KOREA revealed 25 original Korean titles that will be featured in 2022.
