On March 31, a drama production crew bus traveling by motorway toward Paju, Gyeonggi Province collided with a freight vehicle.
A man in his thirties was pronounced dead on the scene, while 10 others were taken to the hospital. According to reports, three of them were seriously injured.
The bus belonged to the team of the forthcoming drama series 'Joseon Therapist' on tvN. The deceased man was a drama producer, according to tvN.
In a press release issued on the same day, tvN stated,
"The 'Joseon Therapist' production and filming team arrived at our Paju, Gyeonggi Province, filming studio earlier this morning. The crew bus, however, was struck by a freight vehicle. After filling up at a local gas station, the freight truck attempted to move into the third lane, triggering the collision. On the scene, one member of the crew perished, while two other members of the production team and three members of the equipment crew are in critical or serious condition. Our team members are currently being transferred to various neighboring hospitals. We're now trying to make sure we know where everyone of our employees is during their treatment."
Meanwhile, Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, Kim Sang Kyung, and others are set to feature in tvN's 'Joseon Therapist.'
