The latest Marie Claire Korea photoshoot showcased Sunmi's undeniable charisma.

The photos and interview with the soloist will be published in the March issue of the fashion magazine, which was released on February 24.

When asked if she looks back on her journey thus far, Sunmi replied, "I don't think so." "My current self must have more emotions than my past self, and I believe that those times still have a strong influence on my music. There has been a noticeable shift in the way I express myself through music, and I believe this will serve as a guide for what kind of music I will create in the future."

Sunmi elaborated on the hints she provided about the music she plans to make in the future when asked "In spite of the fact that I've been singing for 16 years, there are still a slew of musical experiments I've yet to undertake. I was close to becoming stuck, but now I feel like I'm breaking through those boundaries and no longer feel old-fashioned."

It was also brought up to Sunmi whether or not there are any female figures she admires and regards as role models. Sunmi's response was, "I'm a big fan of people who do their jobs well." She went on to name Charlize Theron, Olivia Rodrigo, Shin Min Ah, and Kim Hye Soo as the women she looks up to.
