The cast and crew of JTBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama series 'Thirty, Nine' convened a press conference on February 16 to commemorate the drama's premiere.
Son Ye Jin made her first public appearance after announcing her engagement to actor Hyun Bin during the occasion. As a result, multiple reporters approached the actress and urged her to comment on the recent news and give her thoughts.
On this day, Son Ye Jin commented, "I'm just grateful. I'm not sure what to say about such a personal topic in my life here at the press conference for the drama 'Thirty, Nine,' but I feel like I'm meeting such crucial people and events at the start of 2022, both as an actress and as a person, and it almost feels like destiny. I've received so many congrats from everyone, and I'd like to use this moment to thank everyone."
Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin said why she chose 'Thirty, Nine' as her first drama production in three years after 'Crash Landing On You.' "This was a project I could only complete at my current age. I also recall finishing the script in an instant. I am confident that this will be a memorable and enjoyable project."
'Thirty, Nine,' a JTBC drama starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, and others, premieres today at 10:30 p.m. KST.
