Red Velvet Joy To Star In Upcoming JTBC Drama

She'll be using her given name Park Soo Young for her acting promotions.

Red Velvet's Joy or Park Soo Young, is set to greet viewers through, JTBC's new drama 'One and Only'. The singer/actress will play the role of an influencer with a terminal illness. The drama revolves around three patients at a hospice who through each other find the special 'one'. The drama is set to air on December 20.

Joy had previously starred in 'The Liar And His Lover' and 'Tempted' the former aired to record low viewership ratings at the time. Netizens are saying that it was mainly due to the poor script writing and lack of pace in storytelling. Hopefully things will be different this time around.
