Park So Dam of Parasite fame, underwent emergency surgery for papillary thyroid cancer. According to her agency, Artist Company on the 13th, she is currently resting.
Her agency states, "She (Park So Dam) is apologetic that she can not take part in the opening ceremonies of 'Special Cargo' with her fans. Although she won't be able to participate in the movies' promotions, she will be rooting the team on from afar".
The agency further stated, "We would like to thank all the fans rooting for Park So Dam and 'Special Cargo' and also thank the actors and productions team, she will focus on regaining her health to greet her fans healthy, we also will do our best to support her".
