NO:EL RECEIVES 3 YEAR SENTENCE FOR DUI + ASSAULTING OFFICER

Well deserved.

NO:EL (Jang Yong Joon) received a three-year prison sentence for refusing to take a breathalyzer, DUI while driving without a license, and assaulting a police officer.

The prosecution requested a three-year prison sentence for NO:EL during the February 25th hearing at the Seoul Central District Court, stating, "The defendant was on probation for DUI but committed another offense."

NO:EL was driving his Mercedes-Benz car at the intersection of St. Mary's hospital in Banpo-dong, Seoul, on September 18 at 10:30 PM last year when he collided with another vehicle. He was arrested at the time for driving without a license, refusing to submit to breathalyzer tests, and obstructing the performance of official duties. When he was arrested, he refused to take a breathalyzer test and slapped the police officer in the face.
