NMIXX'S 'O.O' MIGHT NOT END UP BEING A FLOP AFTER ALL

JINNI, THO.

When NMIXX, the rookie JYP Entertainment girl group, debuted with the song "O.O," many netizens gave the song negative reviews.

This sentiment was reflected in the music site rankings, as the song failed to crack the top 100 on Melon Music, one of South Korea's largest streaming platforms. Infact, as of February 22, NMIXX's debut single "O.O" was ranked 220th.

The group's single which made headlines in the United Kingdom for being the worst song of all time however is seeing a resuscitation. Despite netizens having stated the song was a hard listen, chart numbers show that the public may finally be catching on. As the NMIXX's debut track is now ranked 50 on the Melon music charts, a whopping 170 spots higher.

Whether this is due to the song on its own merit or if this is due to the visuals and growing fandom of the group is to be seen, however, the group's debut might be salvageable after all.
