The fourth episode of JTBC's "Thirty-Nine" maintained its upward trend in viewership on February 25. According to Nielsen Korea, the new drama starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun averaged a nationwide rating of 7.5 percent in its most recent broadcast, a new high for the show.
Meanwhile, viewership for the second episode of iHQ and MBN's new drama "Sponsor" increased. The series averaged a 1.4 percent national rating, a slight increase from the previous night's premiere (which averaged 1.2 percent nationwide).
"Sponsor" is a romantic drama about the perilous relationships of two men and two women who are willing to go to any length to obtain their desires—and even seek out "sponsors" to assist them. Lee Ji Hoon plays Lee Sun Woo, an ambitious photographer on the verge of vengeance, while Han Chae Young plays Han Chae Rin, the successful but greedy CEO of a cosmetics company. Ji Yi Soo portrays rising model Park Da Som, while Koo Ja Sung portrays her husband, also a budding model, Hyun Seung Hoon.
