JYP EXPLAINS DELAY IN JAPAN DUE TO COVID CASE ON FLIGHT
Park Jin Young, the head of JYP Entertainment and singer, has been delayed in Japan due to a positive case on his flight.
Park Jin-young posted on his Instagram on the afternoon of the 21st, a selfie of him taken in Japan, where he is currently staying.
Along with this, he left a message saying, "After three corona19 PCR tests and 7 days of quarantine, I can finally meet you. I am really happy to finally be able to meet you despite so many unexpected variables."
Next, he explained, "I'm sorry to those who have been waiting for me in Nagoya and Fukuoka. The quarantine has been extended due to a confirmed case among the passengers on the plane. But I will take you to another area and meet you."
Park Jin-young said, "The last project before the outbreak of Corona 19 was the 'Nizi Project', and as the Corona 19 situation have calmed down, the first project that I will be doing is another 'Niz'i Project'. I look forward to meeting the next dreamers, see you in Hiroshima!
The 'Nizi Project' is an audition project that started in February 2019 with the signing of a business agreement between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music, Japan's largest record label. Previously, in 2020, the girl group NiziU was produced. For season 2, auditions will be held in 11 cities in Korea, Japan and the United States with the goal of creating a boy group.
