JUNG SO MIN'S NEW TVN DRAMA HAS FINALLY CONFIRMED CAST
Been a minute.
After deciding last year to replace the project's female lead, tvN's blockbuster fantasy romance series 'Resurrection' (working title) has finally confirmed its new cast.
'Resurrection' is a fictional, historical fantasy novel set in the land of Dae-Ho. It follows the exploits of young characters whose lives are altered by the spiritual arts.
To begin, actor Lee Jae Wook plays Jang Wook, the son of a noble family born with a secret. Until he meets Mu-Deok, he blames fate for his unsatisfying life. Actress Jung So Min plays Mu-Deok, a woman with a frail body but immense spiritual power, opposite Lee Jae Wook. Mu-Deok becomes Jang Wook's teacher in order to assist him in changing his fate.
Following that, NU'EST member Minhyun joins these two stars as Seo Yool, the son of a fellow nobleman who is renowned for his artistic abilities, not to mention his manners and visuals.
tvN's 'Resurrection,' which also stars Shin Seung Ho, Yoo Joon Sang, Oh Na Ra, and Jo Jae Yoon, is scheduled to premiere in 2022. The series is written by Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, who are well-known for their work on hit songs such as 'My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho' and 'Hotel Del Luna'.
