ITZY IS A WINNER AT JAPAN GOLDEN DISK AWARDS

I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

Itzy won the first prize at the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards, illuminating the presence of 'K-pop's 4th generation'.

According to the list of winners announced on the 14th by Gold Disc Japan's official website, ITZY won the 'Best 3 New Artist' award in the Asian category.

The Japan Gold Disc Awards, hosted by the Recording Association of Japan, have been held every year since 1986, and recognize artists and works that have contributed to the development of the record industry in that year based on the number of record sales and music streaming. ITZY, which officially debuted in Japan after releasing the album 'It's ITZY' on December 22 last year, has proved their popularity by receiving the award just three months after.

Itzy stated, "I am very honored and happy to receive such a big award from the Japanese Gold Disc after only 3 months after our debut in Japan. I want to thank Shinji (fandom name) who always supports us. I will repay you. Please look forward to our future activities.”

On the other hand, ITZY will release their first Japanese single 'Voltage' on April 6.
