Been a minute.
Krystal of f(x) recently discussed her upcoming KBS 2TV drama "Crazy Love" (literal title)!
"Crazy Love" chronicles a sweet yet savage and chaotic romance between a rude but capable instructor who receives a death threat and his terminally ill secretary. Kim Jae Wook portrays Noh Go Jin, the narcissistic CEO of education company GOTOP and the country's top math instructor with a 190 IQ. Krystal portrays Noh Go Jin's secretary Lee Shin Ah, who is a minor character.
Lee Shin Ah is a timid character who struggles for over a year as Noh Go Jin's secretary, but her life takes an unexpected turn when she learns she may not have much time left. "Lee Shin Ah's greatest strength is her patience and diligence," Krystal observed of her character. She is a realistic person from everyday life who temporarily foregoes present happiness in order to pursue her dreams and silently runs toward the future."
The drama's newly released poster depicts the changes that Lee Shin Ah undergoes after learning that she does not have much time left to live. She is biting her lip and glaring at someone ferociously. "I, Lee Shin Ah, cannot die in this manner," the text reads. Noh Go Jin, you will be held accountable for this."
"The process by which Lee Shin Ah changed after learning she had a terminal illness was impressive," Krystal observed. Occasionally, she was candid about her emotions, but her kind and pure heart caused her to be more concerned about Noh Go Jin than anyone else, and those scenes were enjoyable." Then she added, "Lee Shin Ah's charms are indescribable."
Krystal explained that Lee Shin Ah is unlike any other character she has previously played. Rather than being charismatic or exuding "girl crush" allure, Lee Shin Ah embodies the girl-next-door type with her endearing qualities. Occasionally, she makes people laugh even when she is not attempting to be amusing. Krystal attempted to emphasize those points through the use of simple jackets, vests, shirts, and turtlenecks.
The premiere of "Crazy Love" will take place on March 7 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
