CUBE DROPS (G)I-DLE SOOJIN AFTER POLICE INVESTIGATION

On March 5, Cube Entertainment issued an official statement regarding Soojin, a former member of (G)I-DLE.

According to the agency,

"We are writing to inform you that our exclusive contract with artist Seo Soojin has expired.

Cube Entertainment worked extensively with Seo Soojin last February, following the controversy's emergence, to unearth the truth through a police investigation; however, the police ultimately concluded that the accuser(s) were 'not guilty' of spreading false information.

Cube Entertainment respects the police decision and apologizes for causing so much concern in this matter. "

Meanwhile, Soojin previously announced her departure from girl group (G)I-DLE in August 2021, approximately six months after becoming embroiled in online rumors of school bullying.
