On March 29, fans and netizens were shocked to learn that LOONA's Chuu had filed a lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.
It has now come out that Chuu may not be able to use her name if she leaves Blockberry Creative due to the label filing a trademark on her name.
If the trademark is successful Chuu will be unable to utilize her stage name for promotional purposes if her contract is canceled and she no longer belongs to the agency.
Netizens are upset with the label saying that the move is indicative of mistreatment. One netizen wrote, "Even if they take the name Chuu, no other person will possibly be able to live up to the name as well as Chuu."
