Advertisers are leaving en masse.
'Puradak', the chicken brand Jung Hae In models for also pulled their advertisements from 'Snowdrop'. This is an unprecedented move where the brand pulls out of a drama that their model is currently the acting in.
In an official statement, the chicken brand stated, "The original sponsorship was made to root for a model that endorses our brand. However we did not know the drama is offensive to many of our customers. Therefore we have decided to terminate the sponsorship with said drama." Puradak further stated, "We apologize for the offending many of you, in the future we will be more careful and show greater accountability."
Yikes.
