Lime, Pink, and Yellow - Oh My.
The fashion landscape is still reeling from Daniel Lee's departure from Bottega Veneta. The fashion house grew tremendously under Lee reaching the apex of high couture. But as 'good things, don't last' the Bottega Veneta's 'Resort' Collection for their 2022 S/S line prove, 'better things, like Bottega's foothold on couture might'.. at least for now.
Appropriate to the capsules' name, the 'Resort' Collection flexes it's color palette. On the menu are hand bags in splashes of bright citrus, lavender crochets, and audacious pink in bold touchable fabric - true to Bottega fashion. The ready to wear line houses dresses in elegant beads, sea shell crochets, and scene stopping scales. Complimented by playfully fringed slips and soft corduroy tailored sets.
The fashion house will open their new SOHO physical store this week. New creative director Matthieu Blazy debuts his first collection for the house on February.
