'Antenna' Receives Praise For Work Environment And Employee Benefits

Yoo Jae Suk claimed he had never seen a label like Antenna, Mijoo called 'Antenna' heaven, we may know why. And Koreans are raving how they wish they could work there.

Yoo Hee Yeol, the CEO and founder of Antenna discussed the companies' ethos and philosophy towards the label's employees. On the Dec 3rd episode of JTBC's 'General Discussion', the founder spoke about start ups. He emphasized that many people attribute start ups with a free and liberal work environment and he had worked hard to make the same culture in his label.

The founder explained his philosophy stating, "When I first founded Antenna my motto was never leave a profit". He explained he would constantly reinvest into the label or dole out bonuses sharing the profits to employees.

He also spoke on Antenna's greatest employee benefit saying, when an employee reaches the 3rd year mark, we give the employee a $3000 USD bonus and ask them to go on a one month leave, saying that employees in Korea often dream of a month long vacation.

Antenna recently had the most successful free agency this season signing two of the hottest celebrities, Yoo Jae Suk and his protege, once Lovelyz member, Mijoo.
